My mind borders on infinite.  The reflection of a mirror.  The downward spiral.  The dark grip of forever.  When does it all end?  If you find yourself on the brink of insanity and the edge of genius, do you dare take one more step?  You could lose it all or you could have COMPLETE understanding... nirvana.  Do you move forward?  What determines the direction you take when you have no control over which way you go?  It is, of course, possible that insanity and genius must come together, they are not exclusive.  Should I?  Is it insanity?  Is it genius?  Or is it all an illusion?  It was there, it was real.  I could feel it.  I can still feel the anxiousness, the fear... the Fear.  But, I can remember the excitement, and the potential.  Will it all go away?  Be lost?  Forever again unattainable once it wears off?  I don' thtink so, like I said, I can remember it, most of it, the sights and feelings.  As a precaution I would of course keep a tape player, a pen and paper, and a normal person around to keep me from forgetting.  ANd of course the person would also serve as an anchor, a lifeline, a return route to the world that everyone else lives in.  Would I want to come back?  Whether it be insanity or transcendence that embraces me, would I want normality?  That's the Fear, the Forever, the Infinite; Insanity is all-encompassing, it is omnipotent.  it surrounds and divides your mind in a spiderweb of delusion.  How would one even know if it were insanity or genius?  Or if they wanted to come back?  Could they?

If it feels good, is it genius?
If it hurts you to hold the thought, is it insanity?
Do you ever end? Can you point to a time when you did? If you can not point to that end, then how can you be sure that the fear is an indication that if you proceed, you will end, and not that the fear is to be used in a different manor - to guide you toward your acceptance of the unknown parts of yourself. What horrible, disconnected vision of God would you need to put together an assumption of your world in which there exists within you something that inherently should not be there.
No. I say all parts of you are valid in the simplicity of their existence. So there may be parts you want not to create more of, and that is fine, there are plenty more parts that you would enjoy the duplication and evolution of. Is that edge your enemy and something to be feared? Or is that edge your teacher, softly coaxing you to come ever further out, bringing more and more of the uncovered you out into the open where you may experience yourself in your entirety.
Will your enlightenment be painful? What is a heavy enlightenment but a lie and a contradiction? Your path will explain yourself to you in more explicit detail and you will come to remember those parts of you which you secretly admire so much that if you were to look directly at them, it almost seems that it would kill you. All you would know is that the energy is strong and that the power is large, and it would be your enemy in its own existence if serenity and peace are not defined as what You Are.
As you complete a complex set of tasks that is more developed than the dance steps you learned the day before, do you become less of yourself or more? Does a champion of skill see themselves as something undefinable, or something more definable than the lay man who's job was thought up by somebody else to keep him busy. Will your own enlightenment not speak to the same course? Will you not simply know yourself so fully that you will have no need to speak it? To Defend it? Are the wise sages smiling in silence because they have nothing to say or because they Know so inherently that they Need Not Speak to Know. They are so Clear that they need not squabble about?
What is genius if not that which had not been before in such a way. What is insanity but that which is seen of perversion of what has come before. What is perversion but a judgment that seeks to define all acts in black and white idioms of right and wrong. And in a world where genius exists, how can you have such a thing as wrong. What is genius but that which smooths out insanity. Genius is the cleansing brush that reminds the world what it is, and clarifies that there is nothing that it is not. Genius points to an insanity and makes it no more threatening than an infant learning to tie his shoes. Would you stop the chance to explain an insanity to the world by treating any possibility that you conceive as a danger and therefore slaughter the child. To curse away insanity is the only insanity I know.
